At the last performance review, the employee should have been involved in setting some specific goals. Depending on the length of time between performance reviews, additional goals may have been set along the way. Ideally, these goals are specific, measurable, attainable, and timely. The performance review is the ideal time to review those business goals and set new ones as needed. There are many types of performance reviews, and they differ from company to company. Some have grading systems. Others have questions and response formats. Some are expected to be free-form. Whatever the case, commenting with clear, positive language is the key to keeping the review goal-focused and productive. I was a staff trainer at Carlesberg and consultant to HR. The staff were very dedicated to their assigned tasks and collaborated with each other. They went out of their was to accommodate the company with after business hours attendance at company gatherings and personal gatherings for staff birthdays etc. Great people and a good crew. As this was an Asian location I worried as I do universally in Asian cultures of work-life balance. They tend to put work first.
Quality Respectful Environment
During this experience I had a insight of the company and found out how they operate, what the job intails and used different machinary. The hours suited me perfectly and everyone was friendly to work with. Managment were approachable and dealt with complaints effienctly.
I was asked to go over night without a reason till date. I assumed that my resistance to bribing, compromise on product quality affecting consumer health and other unethical activities by the company in India. Most of the top Management is a level down when compared with other beer companies in the quality of people hired. A nightmare experience. The recent global press reports are exposing the company’s unethical practices followed by its top management to gain market share and uninterrupted plant operations in India.
Carlsberg is a great place to work! You got good payment from working shift and night. You work Monday to Friday so you get two days off to relax on the weekend. You got nice and helpful co workers. You get the benefit of evolving at your workplace when you got so many different departments.
