IT Support Specialist – Profusaosonora ApS

Position Summary

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing first and second-line technical support across the organization. This role ensures that employees have reliable access to hardware, software, networks, and internal systems, while also contributing to IT improvements, documentation, and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues (Windows/macOS environments)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents via ticketing systems, email, or in person
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
  • Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and other business applications
  • Assist with user account management (creation, access control, password resets, permissions)
  • Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues when needed
  • Maintain IT documentation, guides, and internal knowledge base
  • Support cybersecurity practices (updates, antivirus, access policies, basic awareness training)
  • Collaborate with external IT vendors and service providers when required
  • Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades and improvement projects

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar technical role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and basic macOS troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, IP configuration)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and user support
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently
  • Good communication skills in English (Danish is an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles
  • Experience supporting small to mid-sized business environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and SaaS platforms
