The Vietnamese Table is looking for a motivated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. We are an intimate restaurant dedicated to celebrating Vietnamese cuisine through tradition, seasonality, and craftsmanship.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional kitchen environment and is eager to learn and grow alongside an ambitious team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs with daily food preparation
  • Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients
  • Wash dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dishwashing areas
  • Support with receiving and storing deliveries
  • Assist with general cleaning duties and end-of-day kitchen maintenance
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Help ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Support the team wherever needed to maintain an efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not required
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • English proficiency required; Danish is a plus
